There is a joint tenancy in place and I want to get it converted into tenancy in common. I don’t want to take the permission of the other owner. Is that possible?
Hi Bunny,
You can definitely convert a joint tenancy into a tenancy in common but for that you will have to take the permission of the other owner.
Take care

Hi Bunny!
Welcome to the forums!
I agree with what Sara has said. In order to make any kind of changes in the deed, you will have to take the permission as well as the signatures of the other owners.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

You can go to court and partition the property.
