Our title states J and J not joint tenants or and or. How do I remove his name and add my son's. This is a mobile home-is this handled like a car title?

You'll have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your name. Once the property is is transferred in your name, you can sign a quit claim deed and add your son's name to the property deed.

Can I take the death certificate of my husband to a tag agent and have his name removed and my son added? My name is on the title as well as my husband's, but it says Johnny and Judy Brown-not and or. Is it handled like a car title? Sorry I am trying to understand this. I live in Oklahoma.

You'll have to carry your husband's death certificate when you want to transfer the property in your name. It would be better if you could take the help of an attorney in this regard. He will guide you through the process.
