MY DAD PASSED AWAY THE HOUSE IS ABOUT 100 YEARS WHERE DO I GET A COPY OF THE DEED MY DAD BOUGHT THE HOUSE APPROX. 55 YEARS AGO

You can get a copy of the deed by sending a written request to the County Recorder or Registrar of Deeds office. You may have to pay $1 per page. If you need a certified copy, then the charge is slightly higher.

if you are local to the property, you can visit the office in which the deed is recorded, and i'm sure the authorities there will be happy to help you navigate your way around the records, if you wish to check for yourself.

Note that many counties now have their land records online. There are also many services that will pull a copy for you. Here are a couple I'm aware of:
