Property Deeds and Estate Trusts

I am an adult child, living in the first level of my parents home. They are elderly and years ago, I decided to live here to take care of them. Over the years, I have invested a great deal of money in the home. Months ago, they had an attorney create a trust and the title to the home was transfered to the trust. I thought that I was on the deed of the property, but just found out that I am not. Although they say I will inherit the home upon their death, my mother constantly uses the threat of changing her mind to control me. Therefore, I have insisted that my name be put on the deed. Is this possible? Or, do you have a better solution.
Hi Colorfulfirefly,

You can ask your parents to remove the property from the living trust and add your name to the property deed. Alternatively, your parents can declare you as the beneficiary of the trust. Thus, after their death, you'll inherit the property.
