the deed of the house is under my father and mother, my father passed 22 yrs sgo. my mother wast to transfer the deed in my name as a gift. i have 3 more siblings, does my sibling have the right to run after the property, since my deceased father still in the deed?
Hi marcaspi,

Your mother should first file an affidavit of heirship and get the property solely transferred in her name. Then she can transfer the property to anyone she feels like. In that case, your siblings will not have any say in the property.

Thanks

Hi marcaspi!

Welcome to the forums!

Once the deed is transferred in your name as per the laws, no one else will have claim to that property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
