How to get my name on the loan and deed and get my fiances ex off?...I recently moved into my fiances house. He bought this house a couple of years ago with his now ex-girlfriend. We are looking at options to get her name off both the deed and the loan. What do we need to do?
Getting her name off of the deed is easy but the loan is more difficult since the loan was approved with her financial info. Call the bank and ask them

she will have to sign a quitclaim deed in the name of your fiance in order to transfer the ownership rights of the property to him. once she does that, your fiance will have to refinance the property in order to remove her name from the mortgage.
