My nephew went with his grandmother several years ago and she did a reverse mortgage on her home and named him beneficiary. The only living The bank won't release info without a death certificate and the county won't release death certificate without info on beneficiary name. Where do we go from here.

Hi deborah,

There must be a will which states that the nephew is the beneficiary of the property. The nephew needs to probate the will and transfer the property in his name. Then he can refinance the mortgage in his name.
