Our mother deeded her home to me and one sibbling, can the other sibblings put the house in probate. Or does the house belong to all of us. There only two names on the house.
It belongs to both of you. Any thign you do need to be singed by both of you

Hi dbrown,

"Our mother deeded her home to me and one sibbling, can the other sibblings put the house in probate"

I believe your mother had signed over the property ownership to you and your sibling through a deed, like a warranty or quitclaim deed. Am I right? If it is so, then there is no need for a probate and both of you own the property. However, in case your mother left the property to you and your sibling through a will, the property needs to be probated. The court will then divide the property between you and your sibling as per the instructions given in the will.
