i live in florida , my landlord told me they gave the property back to the lender and did a deed in lieu of forclourse, what happens to the lease
The lease period will be terminated in that case. You can demand a certain amoutn of money due to early termination of the lease period.

Welcome to the forums.

In Florida, the tenant has to pay the rent payments due till the date of the deed-in-lieu of foreclosure and the lease will come to an end when the deed-in-lieu is carried out.

There is nothing with you. but the date when the foreclosure deed start to be executed, you will move to any place. so you'd better look for other landlords.
