Hi, my fiance's father is an alchoholic and drinks heavily. he has about 2 more payments left on the house which he is still willing to pay but he wants to sign over the house to his son (my fiance)
how woiuld he go about doing so?
what steps need to be taken?
what forms are required and how can we get them?

please help.
hi veronica & diego gonz!

welcome to forums!

your fiancé's father can sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to his son. but as there is a mortgage on the property, the lender may ask to refinance. it will be better if he transfers the property after the mortgage payments are over.

feel free to ask if you've further queries.
