I am filling out a property disclosure act form for a property I am selling. I am behind on payments on the property and the bank filed for foreclosure a couple months ago.
The agreed upon selling price will allow the bank to be fully paid off at closing, and its a cash deal.
On the property disclosure act form item # 6 under general information states:
"Has anyone denied you access to the property of made a formal legal claim challenging your title to the property?"
Is the answer yes, because the forclosure filing constitues a legal challenge to my title, or is a foreclosure filing perhaps not classifed that way?
Thanks for your help

Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
I would suggest you to contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter. He would go through the agreement and let you know what you should write against # 6 general information.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
