Divorced and want my name off mortgage

I have divorced 2 years ago and would like my name taken off the mortgage. My X-husband has agreed to let me do that so he will be liable for the mortgage payment. What are my steps to complete this? Thanks
If you are on the loan, the only way off the loan is to refi or sell. Anyone can be added or removed from title, but you cannot add or remove parties from a loan.

welcome karen,

your ex-husband will have to refinance the mortgage in his name in order to release you from the liability of paying the mortgage payments. in order to refinance the mortgage, there should be equity in your property.
