Do I have dowers rights?
Hi Theresa,
Dower rights are the rights that a non owner spouse has in the real property of his or her spouse. Keeping in mind this definition, you do have dower rights over that property. In order to be sure enough, it will be better if you could contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
Thanks
