My husband sold a house we owned back in 2005. I never signed ANY document whatsoever much less a document waiving my interest of dower right. Is there a statute of limitations that waives my interest in my property? What can I do to retain my interest?
Hi Ginny,
I haven't heard of a statute of limitations that waives your interest in the property. You should contact an attorney and take his opinion in this matter. He will guide you as to what your rights are in this matter.
Thanks
