Situation is:
My friend has some property like home,Land.but some property has his ex-wife name . He want to transfer this property from her name to his name. when he ask for this to her she refuses.
For this situation he can go throuth the court ?
Or any other way to transfer property from her name.??

There are two things your friend can do. Your friend can either buy out his ex-wife. He can offer a certain amount to his ex-wife and ask her to transfer the property to him. If she is not ready to do so, then your friend can file a partition law suit. The court will look into the matter and pass a judgment to sell off the property. Once the property is sold off, the sale proceeds will be used to pay off the mortgage. If there remains an excess amount, then it'll be divided between your friend and his ex-wife.

Assuming he has a divorce judgment awarding him the property, he can go to court and get an order. Then, record the order in the county recorder's office. This should remove the ex-wife from title.
