Hello,
I want to see if there is anything I can do to get out of a home loan my parents have....my parents could not get a mortagage b/c they didn't report enough income, I put myself on the mortgage to help them get the house. the problem is that my dad lost his job in December of last year and he got a little behind on the mortage, he is in the process of doing a loan modification and is working steadily and making more money as well as my mother. I want to get out of the mortgage b/c I want to get a place of my own. I currently have great credit besides the mortgage loan which I'm sure reported those late payments to the credit bureau..any suggestions please advise...

when you sign a mortgage, you sign it until such time as it is paid in full. it's really that simple.
