transfere of property as a gift

Posted on: 07th Oct, 2009 02:29 pm
hi would someone please advise, around 2 years ago i transfered my property as a gift to my sister, however we had a verbal agreement that i am still a 25% owner of the property, however she has transfered a Power Of Attorney to my father over the house and they are both refusing to give me my share - is there anything i can do??
If this was Verbal, I do nto think ti is really valid.

Unless it was on paper

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

As you had a verbal contract with your sister, you have hardly anything to do if they refuse to give you your share of the property. As Sunny has said, a verbal agreement would not be considered as valid.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

This solution is not in this context.(as here it is only verbal so...)

Your father inherit some property. So by law you will be entitled for some property from your father.I hope you can find some clue with this.

Keep in touch....
