Vacation home in Bandera county. TX deeded twice during grantee life time and one warranty deed is deceased and one living. Grantee dies after brother died before the life estate not executed. Will in process of being probated for Owners how gave out the warranty deed to brother(deceased) sister and grandsons(2). Left out of both deceased wills and I got stuck with the taxes for the past twenty years.
Hi dean!

Welcome to forums!

If you were gifted the house through a warranty deed, then you are the owner of the property. It is surprising as to how the property was given away to your mother or her brother without your permission or signatures. I will suggest you to contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
