my morther inlaw gave us some land , we have a deed in are name done by a lawer.she was mad at her other son at that time now they are all made up and she wants us to give it to him we paid all taxs and up keep .we live on it its been about 2 years can we be made to give it back she is 71 and is not doing good .the son comes just when he wants something . what do you think do we got to give it up???

As the land is your property now, no one can force you to transfer the property to someone else. You are the legal owner of the property. However, if you wish you can add the other son of your mother-in-law to the deed and give him ownership rights.

There is no one can't force you or bother you to get your property.
Your Mother in law is give this property on your name. You are a real owner of this property. If Would you like to add them in your property you can do it normally there is no more problems but any one can't force you for do it.
If they forced you can take help of Police & your lawyer.
