My mother, father and grandparents are all listed on the Grant Deed and it reads as follows:
"Jane Doe and John Doe, husband and wife and Bob Smith and Pam Smith, husband and wife, ALL as joint tenants. Bob Smith died and Pam Smith his wife believes she gets his half. Is this true?
Pam Smith believes that she now owns half the property and that she can give her half to whom ever she wishes, can she do that?

Hi mbayomega,
Pam Smith will have to get her husband's share of the property transferred in her name by filing an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office. This will make her the owner of the half of the property. Then she can transfer her share of the property to anyone she wishes to.
