GRANT DEED TO SECURE LOAN

Posted on: 09th May, 2010 10:40 am
I MADE A PERSANAL LOAN OF 50000 DOLLARS AND I WAS ADDED TO THE TITLE IN A FORM OF A GRANT DEED WICH MY NAME IS LISTED FIRST WOULD THAT SECURE MY LOAN EVEN IF THERE IS A BANK MORGAGE ON PROPERTY
Welcome TONYSANMAN,

Your query is not clear to me. The property has a personal loan on it. Do you want to take another secured mortgage on that property?

Hi tony,

If you are primary lender, then you will be able to satisfy your dues first. If the other lender's has the primary mortgage on the property and if it is not paid on time, then he will be able to foreclose the property.
