So, try to follow me here:
Grandpa has a house, and he dies. Upon death, supposed to go to his 3 kids, or their kids if they are not alive.
Kid 1 - Alive, and lived in the house with Grandpa and still lives in the house
Kid 2 - Dead, has two sons
Kid 3 - Dead, has one son
So, what are Kid 1's rights? Can sons of Kid 2/3 force him to move? can they force him to pay rent? Do they have access to the house whenever they want? What if Kid 1 wants to buy them out and they don't want to sell?
Thanks!

Welcome wvdg,
Your grandparent's first child has the rights to the property. Similarly, the second and third children's sons too have rights to the property. Those sons would not be able to force the grandfather's eldest child to leave the property or pay rent for it.
