if we have horses on property that was giving to my wife but we were told we could have the horses there though her dad has a life estate and know after almost 5000 in fence and over a year he wantes them gone do we have to move them or can we keep them there? Her deed states he can live in the house till he leave occupancy.
Hi warrior_scout
Though the father has a life estate deed, your wife is the owner of the property. In my opinion, the father cannot ask your wife to remove the horses from the property.
