my mother and i bought a house together then a few years later i got married. now i need to add my spouse to deed. which paperwork should i use or do i need a lawyer??

You can use a quit claim deed in order to add your spouse's name to the property deed. It's always better to take the help of an attorney in order to get the deed drafted. He/she may also assist you in filling out the deed and recording it at the county recorder's office.
