My husband is not on the property deed. And he isn't on the mortgage as well because I alone qualified for a better rate. Well, here I am sure that I can add him to the deed though. Is that correct?
Hi HW,
You should take the opinion of your lender before doing so. Any change in property ownership may cause a problem for you and your loan may become due in full.
Take care

Hi HW,
Sara is correct in saying so. Change in ownership may create a problem for you. You should check your mortgage docs carefully and consult your lender before taking any decision.
Thanks
