deed was not in my name banks will not give me ownership of the property,now i am about to lose it,equity in the home what can i do or can i give it to his family he this house i hate to just give to the banks or let it set and go down :?:

As your husband is deceased, you should file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office in order to get the property transferred in your name. Once the property is transferred in your name, you will be able to negotiate with the lender and get the mortgage refinanced in your name. Once you start making regular payments, you'll be able to save the property and the equity in it.
