my brother convinced my father to quit claim deed the home before he died to prevent the home from going into probate. now that my father has died my brother is planning on selling the home.
there are 2 other siblings including myself and we are afraid that he will not split the proceeds from the home. do we have any recourse?

Hi,
Let me know one thing. Is your father added your brother's name in the title of the property. Or he just transfers the property to your brother by removing his name from the title.
If in your case First case is applicable then you should knock the door of the court and claim for the share of the property. I suggest you to contact an attorney.
Thanks

Hi GoodSuccess,
First you should find out if your father has left any will and check out what is written there regarding the property share. If you and your two siblings are included in it, then your brother can no way sell the property without taking your permission for it. You can take the help of an attorney in this regard.
