My grandfather died and left property to his children. My mother being one of them. My mother passed and left her portion to her children. My brother passed and his portion went to his children. Originally there were six names on the deed now there are seventeen. This makes it difficult to sale. Can we simplify using quick deeds to designate just a few?

You can always request all the heirs to sign a quit claim deed and transfer the property in the name of few of the heirs. The heirs can sign away their interest in the property in lieu of a certain sum of money.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
