Hello!
Our mom passed away and her six children inherited her home here in California. The home is paid for, but it was not included in her Living Trust. We have put it on the market to be sold. How do we go about transferring it to her trust? Can we do this without the cost of an attorney? If so, what documents/forms do we need to complete and file?

Welcome Guest,
As your mother is deceased, it would be difficult for you to transfer the property in her trust now. Nevertheless, you should contact an attorney and he would be able to guide you whether or not you would be able to transfer the said property in the trust.
If you and your siblings are unable to transfer the property in her trust, then you need to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your names. Then you would be able to sell it off.
