am i still insured

i signed a transfer/deed of land ..not really understanding what i was doing..i was scared...now i found out i still have my name on the house or title insurance what do i do if i want to have my name put back on the deed.....he will fight me on this...as he can be abusive

Your partner needs to sign a quit claim deed in order to add your name to the property deed. In case, he is not ready to add your name to the property, you can request him to put his name on the title insurance and remove you from it. Thus, you won't be liable for the insurance premiums any longer.
