My grandmother passed away a year ago she had a revocable living trust that appointed my mother as the trustee. My grandmother name myself, my mom, and my sister all joint owners of her 2 properties. However I found out that my mother only did the paperwork to state her name on the deed. How do I go about getting myself and my sister's name added to the deed. I just want to ensure that we are getting what me and my sister are entitled to as far as a sale or decisions made with these properties in the future.
Hi kmacncheese!
Welcome to forums!
You should contact a real estate attorney and he will help you in this matter. He will let you know as to how you may be able to add your name and your sister's name to the property deed.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Welcome kmacncheese,
As far as I can understand, you may have to ask your mother to sign a quitclaim deed and add your name and your sister's name to the property deed.
