does illinois recognise a lady bird life estate? we have this in florida and a life estate holder with a lady bird estate has all the rights to sell or anything they want to do with the property without consent from remaindermen
Not sure about your state, but you might get the fastest reply by contacting your local title company and asking them directly. They can also help you prepare the deed and have it recorded.

As far as I know, a ladybird deed is not applicable in the state of Illinois. It is applicable only in states of Florida, Texas, Ohio, California, and Kansas.
