if you are on a ladybird deed and on dhs do you have to turn it in as a trust and if you do will it hurt the person that is giving you the house as far as there medicare or Medicaid

It should be noted that Medicaid laws do not allow for the applicant's house to be gifted to others without penalty. However, if you are spouse of the Medicaid applicant, a child of the applicant who is under age 21, a child of the applicant who is blind or permanently and totally disabled, etc. then there will be certain exceptions.
