my grandma gave me some property. what forms do i need to fill out to make it legal?
Hi Guest,
You should ask your grandmother to sign a quit claim deed in order to transfer the property in your name. While filling out the deed, your grandmother's name will be mentioned as the grantor of the property whereas your name will be mentioned as the grantee. Then you need to notarize and record the deed at the county recorder's office.
