my mother passed away leaving no will, how do we transfer the deed to my name?

my mother passed away and did not leave a will. her house is mortgage free. i have an older brother and sister and we have all decided i should get her house. we assume the ownership would go to the oldest child, my brother, so would we use a quitdeed form? The house is still in my mother's name.
