I am about to close on a house. The title is in my name only. If I put my husband on the deed and he owes a debt can someone put a lien on my house if he is only on the deed and not the title?

If your husband's name is on the property deed, then he would be considered as one of the owners of the property. His creditors can then place lien on the property.
