will a property lien on the property be transferred when a quit claim deed is done and therefore no longer the responsibility of the grantor?
Hi kelley,
The lien will remain on the property and it cannot be transferred. Though the ownership changes, the lien will still remain on that property. However, if the grantor of the property does not clear off the dues, the grantee will become responsible for it after the property transfer.
Thanks
