If you are named in a recorded will to receive a property after the life estate person is deceased; how do you take title?
Hi GailD,
You will have to probate the will. Once the probate is complete, the will needs to be recorded at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your name. You should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.
Thanks
