I BOUGHT A HOUSE PREVIOUSLY TO GETTING MARRIED. IF WE WERE TO SEPARATE, WOULD I AUTOMATICALLY GET THE HOUSE?
It depends on the state you live in, but generally property owned before marriage belongs to only that person upon divorce.

Yup, pretty much> all earnings and property aquisitions "after" marriage get split up, anything before marriage dependent on how long youve been with her/him you get back solely in your name. If you guys were together for like 15 years, then that another story> I think if its under 5 years in most states then anyhting before marriage that you owned become yours once again.
