My father passed away about 18 months we had 2 houses together. His name only is on the mortgage loan and my name is on title and the property taxes.I filed an death certificate with the county. Now how do i get the mortgage company to put my name on the mortgage loan which I have always paid. I would like not only to put my name on the loan but lower the interest which is mostly why I want to change the loan to my name.
