dear joshua heard;
here is our situation;
my husband had a stroke, he got medicaid last year.
he is 59 and disable. bed bound. he does not want to go to a nursing home . i want to stay home with him. i already taking care of him, i do not work. my brother has ben paying our bills and mortgage since january 2008. it is a loan. he wanted to refinance our house because the rate was high (8%) my husband suggested to change the title to my brother so he can get a lower rate. we did it without having the intention of cheating. it's only more practical since my brother is the one who is paying the bills.
is this going to affect my husband's medicaid? my husband is very sick and needs medical help as well as other government benefits (food stamps, ssi) what can be done to save him
thank you
