we own a time share in mexico. we placed our young daughters names as owners along with ours. we now want to sell the unit and need to delete their names from the deed to simplify any transaction.
a "quit claim deed" looks reasonable but i'm not sure how to implement one involving property in mexico. (one daughter now lives in pa and one is here in az) doris & ed hallee

Hi echallee,
You can ask your daughters to use a quitclaim deed to transfer the property in your name. Both of them will have to use the quitclaim deed of the Mexico where the property is located. Once they sign the quitclaim deed, you will have to notarize it and record it at Mexico.
Thanks
