I was wondering if anyone knew what was involved in a mobile home transfer?
Hi mjfoyt!
Welcome to the forums!
If there is a mortgage on the mobile home, then you will have to use a quitclaim deed to transfer the property to someone else. Once that is done, the new owner needs to refinance the mortgage in his or her name.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi mjfoyt,
If the property is free and clear, then a warranty deed can be used for mobile home transfer.
Thanks

Mobile homes are not attached to the land, so they are not considered real estate, but vehicles, registered through DMV. Ask there for the title transfer forms. The land itself is transferred like real estate using a deed.
