My mother is deceased and my siblings and I would like to get the deed to her house changed over into our names what must we do to do that?
Hi deany!
Welcome to forums!
If your mother does not have a will, then you and your siblings will have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your name. If there is a will, then that needs to be probated before you can get the property transferred in your name.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

How do you add a name to a deed?
Hi Levent,
You can add a name to the property with the help of a quitclaim deed. You can contact an attorney and get the deed drafted from him.
Thanks
