My mother recently passed away due to massive heartattack. She has no real estate. However, I need to obtain an exectrix of her affairs. How do I go about that, now since she's already passed
Hi kelli,
You'll have to contact your mother's attorney and check out if she has left a will or not. He can give you the executrix rights to your mother's affairs. If there is no such attorney, then a court can grant you the executrix rights to your mother's affair.
Thanks

can the executrix charge the estate a percentage for performing the executrix duties.
Hi aosborne!
Welcome to forums!
If an executrix is a bank or a lender, then they can charge money for performing the required duties.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
