Names on a deed

Hi, if my husband and I own two houses, one in my name only and one in both of our names. The one in my name only might be going through foreclosure. Can they lien the house we live in which is the house in both of our names? If the mortgage on the house we live in is in my name but the deed in both of our names, if I take my name off the deed can they lien it?
Hi dadamson,

Welcome to mortgage fit,

If you remove your name from the deed and put someone else name on the deed or transfer the property completely to your husband then they won't be able to put lien on your home..........

Feel free to ask any further query if you have.......
