Hi sherryh2002,

Welcome to Mortgagefit,

In this scenario, you may ask your grandmother to sign a quitclaim deed to you.this is one of the simplest and cheapest way to accomplish it.some of the basic information about quitclaim deed can be found on this link...

Welcome sherryh,

As the property is free and clear, your grandmother should sign a warranty deed in order to transfer the property to you. She can contact an attorney and he/she will assist her in drafting the deed.
