Does the name on the deed have to be on the mortgage statement?

My grandfather recently changed his property deed into my name instead of making out a will. I have no problem making the mortgage and the remaining term is only two years. Should I worry about the name on the mortgage statement since it has not been changed, or should I leave it as it is to keep from refinancing?
welcome knowledgecash,

it is better to refinance the mortgage as the property has now been transferred in your name. you should contact the lender and apply for refinance. if the property has equity in it, then you'll be able to refinance the loan.
