Here is my issue. My Grandfather died in November of 09.He had no will and by the courts my uncle Jim is the Power of Attorney. My mom, aunt and both my uncles said they would sell me the house. My uncle Jim wants more money now.The other 3 will still sell it to me.Can I buy there shares and not his?
Welcome carrie,
If your mother, aunt and another uncle are the owners of the property along with your Uncle Jim, then you can buy them out and transfer their share of the property in your name. If Uncle Jim is the sole owner of the property, then you can't do so.
