My mother is going into a nursing home. Years ago my parents had a quick claim deed drawn up with myselg and my sister both named on it. My question is does the nursing home have any right to my mothers share in the property to help pay the costs of the nursing home once her money runs out. if so what are my options? The state is Michigan.

There are chances that the nursing home will take away the home in order to pay her medical costs. However, your mother can use a Ladybird deed in order to transfer the property to you. To know more on the same topic, check out the following page:
